Now you can wear Android too!!

What I am talking here about is the Wearable Android Display glasses...Sounds interesting right??

So here comes the new technology from Epson-BT100 which has featured the see through lenses to keep you connected to the outer world and your surroundings and also you can do online activities simultaneously. This Android powered lenses has been launched by Epson in India. The Moverio BT-100 has been designed to move along with you...just like-wherever you go,we will follow you..Its not like other bulkier devices which also limit the the use to indoor only.

It comprises a headset that makes use of micro-projection technology and an Android powered media player & controller. The lenses have large high resolution display with a quarter HD screen which puts up an impressive and immersive effect on the user to experience the content and display in a new way.
This small portable mobile entertainment viewer runs on Google Android platform 2.2 and lets one privately access to the videos in case you don't want to disturb others in a same room. This small device lets you experience along side 3D content and enjoy downloaded digital stuff on a large virtual 80 inch screen projected from 5 metre away...There are so many features incorporated in this small masterpiece which includes built in 802.11n wireless connectivity and nearly 6 hrs of rechargeable battery life, also it offers a handy way to interact with the content from virtually sitting at any location..Isn't it good?? Give your reviews about the product...how you liked it..Give ratings out of 5!!
This device will cost you around Rs 43,000 in India.

Autostereoscopy:3D without glasses

It is the process of displaying 3D images without using specialized headgear. It is also known as glasses free 3D and is major technology used in 3D smartphones such as HTC EVO 3D and LG Optimus 3D and also in some portable gaming device.
This technology uses the principle of parallax barrier to deliver different images to each eye.The latest and most convenient design does not have the physical parallax barrier in front of the pixels, but behind the pixels and in font of the backlight. Thus it doesn't send different images but different light to the two eyes. This allows the the two channels of light to pass through the pixels, allowing glare over the opposite pixels, giving the best image quality. For example this technology is used in Nintendo 3DS to remove these drawbacks.
The development of the 3D gaming has actually been in the works for the past few decades or so. Nintendo was actually one of the first video game  developers to integrate 3D technology into its gaming devices such as the Virtual Boy . However, these  were only met with limited success, partly because the 3D technology behind these devices left a lot to be desired. Nintendo persevered in integrating 3D into their projects until the handheld Nintendo 3DS was announced to the world.

What most commonly word used here is parallax barrier,so what is it?
A parallax barrier is a device placed in front of an image source, such as a liquid crystal display, to allow it to show a stereoscopic image ormultiscopic image without the need for the viewer to wear 3D glasses. Placed in front of the normal LCD, it consists of a layer of material with a series of precision slits, allowing each eye to see a different set of pixels, so creating a sense of depth through parallax in an effect similar to what lenticular printing produces for printed products.
So this technology is gonna rock the world and 3D will be everywhere from small games to large screens in theatre and offices..

Breakthrough 3D solar cell on the way!!

Solar3D Inc ,based in USA, is developing a 3-dimensional(3D) solar cell technology that will maximise the conversion of sunlight into electricity. The new technology uses a 3D design to trap sunlight inside a photovoltaic structure where photons bounce around until they are converted into electrons.

This next generation solar cell will be more efficient, resulting in a lower cost per watt, making solar cell more affordable. The purpose of developing the 3D solarcell technology is to achieve greater efficiency and wide angle light collection, thereby making it possible for the solar cell to produce much more power for the cost.
We are completing our prototypes and will conduct a pilto runof about 50,000 units next year,Solar3D Inc ended and will come to market this year..
